Kirk > The streets of Kiev are beautiful but hard on the feet if you spend the day walking them.
Kirk > We are coming down from the Mt. Timpanogos summit at 11,750 feet. As you can see, the back side, or east side of the mountain is a shear cliff dropping more than 1,000 feet. You don't want to get too close to the edge.
Kirk > Goblin Valley State Park by day. It is a very strange place to explore. This is two images that have been stitched together.
Kirk > This was a week long camping trip at Kent's Lake in the Fish Lake National Forest. We had some great sunsets.
Kirk > 1/23/07 – I was so busy today I nearly forgot about posting a photo for today. This is a Soviet Union WWII medal I bought from a little old woman on the street in Tallinn, Estonia. She was selling what looked like family “treasures.” She looked very poor. I later saw the same medal in an antique shop in Helsinki, Finland. They wanted 3X what I paid. I was pleased I got a good deal but I also felt a little bad that the old lady had to sell hers.
