This is a collection of my personal favorites - photos I've shot over the past few years for themes & challenges to vacations to hiking and camping in the mountains. Mostly opportunities just to get out into nature and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us all.
This might be my all time favorite image. It has special meaning to me. My parents have several walnut trees around their home and they produce thousands of walnuts every year. My dad collects them, husks them and sets them out to dry. Then he bags them and gives them away. I was at their home and was walking by when I saw his work gloves sitting on top of the walnuts. For me it told the story and represents how my dad has always worked hard around his yard. Someday he will be gone, but this photo will always remind me of who he was.
