This is a collection of my personal favorites - photos I've shot over the past few years for themes & challenges to vacations to hiking and camping in the mountains. Mostly opportunities just to get out into nature and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us all.

Kirk > This is what's left of an apple blossom after the blossoms fall off.
Kirk > I took the entire family golfing and we got hit by a thunderstorm that drove us off the course. I captured this image as the storm passed by and the sun was setting.
Kirk > This was a week long camping trip at Kent's Lake in the Fish Lake National Forest. We had some great sunsets.
Kirk > Sunset and summer rain over Lake Mountain in Utah County shot from very near my home.
Kirk > This image caught my eye because the blue of the boat was the same color as the sky reflected in the water. This is the lake at the Maple Dell scout camp where I did my week long Woodbadge training. The boat floated freely around the lake. A story evolved of an Indian warrior's spirit that paddled the lake in search of his squaw who drowned hundreds of years earlier.

Kirk > Sean and I went to Goblin Valley State Park to camp. There was a full moon. It took about 22 seconds to get the stars and rock formations exposed properly. A small flash light created the glow inside the tent.
Kirk > Goblin Valley State Park by day. It is a very strange place to explore. This is two images that have been stitched together.
